    Hey guys.......

Thought I might find someone interested in my 328. I will probably put it up on Ebay this week. Or maybe AutoTrader. Or a few places......

71k miles. GREAT car. SHINES like new. NO leaks. No starting issues. All maintanence done on time. Receipts. Etc.

    Price $35,500
    Here's the deal.....

I have always wanted a TR (as some of you already know......it is my dream car). I have found one that I can't pass up. Now I need to sell my 328 to get the TR. Don't have space or cash for the two cars).

Anyone looking or know anyone that is looking???

Oh yeah, I know this sounds crazy but, for some reason, if the TR sells before my car, I won't be selling it. Unless someone makes some crazy offer. I guess everything is for sale. ;-)

HMMMM! Me buy Husker Bill's toy and what should I do with it? Blow it up? Hotdog it? Have it crushed? Sounds too tempting to pass up. I guess we might need to talk. No, really I wish you the best in moving towards your dream car. Hope it works out for you. Hey want to trade for a Daytona?

    Mike,
Have him give me a call if he would like. It truly is a great car. There are a bunch of guys from this board who could attest to the shape it is in and the care I take with it. I spent 5 hours alone on Saturday washing and waxing it . And that was BEFORE I found the TR..... ;-)

    Rick,
I would love to see you buy it. But you know that.....

Nice price! Though I'm ready to buy an excellent 308 driver yours is very tempting. Funny thing is that I've never looked into service intervals past 50,000 miles so I don't know what's due next for yours and at what price. But I'm searching... ;)

Some will say plugs and wires, oil, fluids, etc. every 15k. (even with oil changes every 3000)

Others would say belts PLUS what I mentioned every 15k.

Some would say belts, waterpump, PLUS what I mentioned before every 15.

Here is what the owner's manual says for 75,000 miles........

Replace - Engine oil, Transmission and differential oil, Air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs

Inspect - Just about everything else

    That's about it.......

    Just an FYI..........

The timing belt and water pump were done in March of '04.

A new clutch (pressure plate and disk) and spark plugs were put in in July of '04.

New fluids (oil/tranny) and coolant were done in Feb of '05.

Another oil change done in August '05 with new spark plugs.

Oil change this March of '06.

New air filter last week (even though the old one was 1 year old).

All service prior to my ownership done at Ferrari of San Francisco.

That about sums it up. It has been a problem FREE car and I would expect that to continue. When you get a car that was taken care of and continue to take care of it (i.e. preventative maintenance), those things happen. :)

Hopefully this doesn't offend you, would you let me know about the TR if for some reason you did not buy it? Thanks.

Sure. But, unless it sells before I sell my car, I will be buying it.

Those pics are from August or so. I will be taking more today. This TR thing came up quick and I couldn't take pics for the past few days, as it has been raining........

y'know, the rules say we don't do ads in the main forums... that's what FerrariAds.com is for. Of course, we're a little more flexible with long-time subscribers. I've let it go for awhile, but I'm closing this thread now (but not deleting it) -- if you need more info, please send a PM or email to Bill.
