Yes, Bill is a great guy. I spoke at length with Bill at his shop. He was, at that moment restoring a 500SF, a 410SA and I don't remember the others. We talked about the cars, including the 308 and then started on Brit bikes like Vincent, AJS and Matchless.

If for a moment, you truly thought that I'd fit into that car....

Just for laughs, people ask me to try getting into Countachs, Miuras and etc., then they shoot pics of the careful process of extrication.

    Regards,
    Bill

Yes, great bloke. I recall he raced against Derek Minter at Brands. He helped me a lot with the P6 cams and the dry sump stuff, and he'd talk for hours. He was restoring the Led Zeppelin MacLaren. Bloody great intake stacks coming out the thing like organ pipes. He was kind enough to start it when I stopped by. Next time I called, he'd get so PO'ed with being disturbed it wasn't funny. I got a bit frayed in the end, as I suspect did Bill. Nonetheless, great guy. Knows a bunch and can tell a story.

Shame the car looks like such a doughnut. He's going to have a tough time selling it.

Bill, I did not realize you were too, err, diametrically challenged, to fit into a 308. No insult intended.

I met Bill Pound a number of years ago and he's a great guy. At times though, he can be rather acerbic.

    ROTFLMAO

Billiam in a 308, NO WAY!!

A couple of years ago we got him into a Diablo. The most hilarious thing I ever saw was him trying to get out of it!

Now you know why we don't call him 'Skinni Willi'!! :)
