I am surely a fan. Offshore racing is solely responsible for a great amount of adrenaline my body has produced, even if I'm not professionally racing or anything. This year (summer) I have driven atleast 5000 Nautical miles of which alot offshore. The problem is that too much is never enough...

Do you have a pic of the boat in that show ? This is what I drive (my job) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lV0hstoR9mA

No pic but this is the company and the boat is the one with the single turbine. (brigth yellow can't miss it)

very cool job you have; Especiallly being in a boat that can do 180+!!!

Unfortunately it seems that off shore isn't too big in the u.s. Looks like they only race in florida and some of the southern states...

I'm into offshore boats as well, though not so much the modern "course style" racing of them. Unfortunately though even that isn't covered too well in the media. The point to point races out in big water back in the 70's and 80's seemed a lot more interesting (and a lot more dangerous). The boats themselves though are something else, and it's really a sight to see and hear when you get a bunch of them running at one time.
