I'm looking for a good stereo shop in the Costa Mesa area - no hack job installers! Doesn't need to be the top of the line but someone who is capable, has a decent line of equipment, and knows what they are doing. Any recommendations?

Damn, trying to remember the place - it's on Newport Blvd. near the Fairgrounds. Call Ferrari OC and ask them where they take the cars to, they're the ones that gave me the recommendation. At the shop, they had a huge photo book of all the cars done, mostly 360s, 550s, and a few Diablos.

I know a great guy, but he's in the S.F. Valley. He says he does work for F of OC, F of BH, Auto Gallery, Beverly Hills Classic Cars. He just did an amazing job on an install for me. Let me know if you need to wander out of the OC.

I think I know which place you are referring to. I'll give Ferrari of OC a call. Thanks Bri!

Heck, all up and down Harbor there are good little shops. Avoid best buy/chain stores. Those guys don't give a **** about you or your car, just your $

Newport Autosound (IMHO) isn't what it used to be. It was the place to go in the 80's and early 90s, and while they're still there, they kind of faded away. I waited in there shop for about 30 minutes and couldn't get any service, so I left.

Called FOC, got the rec. and went there
