    Need a PPI on an Aston Martin for my brother; the car is in Waltham at Aston Martin of New England; obviously he wants an opinion outside the dealership, any indy shops that do exotics/hi line cars? thanks! Dogdoc PS I have no idea how far Boston is from Waltham...

    boston sports car is right down the road-ish; its about a 20 minute drive from AM-NE.

    Honestly i would trust Steve Oldford's opinion over ANY of the independent PPIs out there. Steve is the service manager of that dealership.

    In most cases an outside PPI would be mandatory- except Steve is 100% no BS.

    I know this is counter-intuitive but there are only a few guys in this biz that I would trust implicitly- Call Steve on the phone at AMNE/Lotus and talk with him about the car- He'll be honest even if the sales guy won't. I think that would be your most complete understanding of exactly what you're buying.

    BSC wouldn't know a new Aston from a Dump truck.

    I can second the endorsement of Steve Oldford, he is quite knowledgeable and as honest as the day is long.

    For what it's worth I wouldn't buy a car without Steve's opinion. I have known him for about eight years and he is very knowledgable and trustworthy.
