    Wondering if anyone knows a source for the black rubber trim that acts as a water sealent and that sits held in place in the goove in the chrome work around the main drivers and passenger window on the car.

    You can look at different trim at JC Whitney and just match up the cross section pic. Ferrari rubber trim is definitely not a part patented by Ferrari for Ferrari only.

    I got the window channel trim for my GT4 from them at least 20 years ago. I went through the catalog and found what looked like a good match, called them and asked for a sample. They sent me a 3" piece, and it was an exact match, so I ordered up a batch. I think it cost $0.90 a foot! When I told some friends at the FCA they mocked me - like I was a cheapskate or something.

    Unfortuntely in Ireland we don't have JC Whitney.

    I would be more than happy to pay anyone in the US to ship some of this stuff to me if it is still available from them.

    Hi Mike thanks for the note, I just checked the site, that is not the part I am looking for.

    My rubber seal is the one that sits on the outside of the window not the inside channel for running the window up / down.

    It is the thin rubber strip that forms a seals between the window and main body of the car that I am looking for.
