Got a new LED tv, a sharp aquos, and did a test and shows 2 dead pixels (no big deal), but one quite big, boomerang shaped "hot spot" (or is there another name for what I see?)

My question is: Will/should/could this hot spot get worse? In that case, I have to haul the monster TV back to the store.....sheesh........

    Thanks, People

If you just bought it then does the store not have a mobile support company that works for them? Just a thought but it's something you could check.

Thanks, pure. I will call them- never thought of that. good idea. Now , after a few days of more research, I should explain better though- I think I have backlight bleed, NOT hot spot.

Do you know if that can get worse? I will let you know if I can get that out of store help.....
