Anyone know about the 348 SS challenge on Ebay??

    Don't know this particular car, but it does NOT appear to be equipped with the genuine Challenge kit and presumably wasn't raced in the Challenge Series, for whatever that's worth. It is also certainly NOT the only SS Challenge car, as claimed- several Serie Speciales were run in the Series (including my car, #94285).

    It is an ex-race car, although I can't find the details offhand. I have a list of all the 348s which ran in the North American Challenge, and this serial number is on the list. Entered but unraced cars are noted, and this one doesn't have that comment, so....

    If someone really needs to know, I can try to find the details.

    Thanks guys. I thought I was interested in it, but it's a little TOO much of a race car; seller said it can't pass smog, so that's the nail in the coffin for me.

    Old Guy- I don't have the list of Series entrants handy, but I'm sure you're right. The car was obviously modified thereafter though, as it doesn't currently have the "correct" (for whatever that's worth) seats, door panels, etc.
