http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/Search/DRauSearchDetails.aspx?itemid=662463 Does anyone have any history on this TDF 550 listed at Lamborghini Chicago in Westmont? Can anyone recommend a local shop for an independent PPI? Thanks for your help.
Don't know anything about the history on this car but the best place for a PPI is Euroquipe in St. Charles. www.euroquipe.com
is this the same car??? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001-FERRARI-550-MARANELLO-6-SPEED-BLUE-TAN-SUPER-CLEAN-/120617094078?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item1c1556cbbe#section-vehicle-glossary
I know the previous owner. He only had the car for a short amount of time and had it serviced at LFSC (once), and had the drivers seat recovered. I believe the primary reason he sold it so quickly was that he got a smoking dial on Gallardo Spyder. That being said, I thought the car was a bit rough when I saw it. For example, check out the panely fit of the passenger door, especially pay attention to the quarter inch gap between the glass and pillar. Anyone that is truly interested in finding out about this car can PM and I can ask questions of the prior owner.
I think it has a documented accident. That said, sometimes those pillars between the windows do come loose on their own.
