this spacer block? It's for the trunk/boot lid. PN 000856582 New on on the left, old one (stripped when GTS was delivered) on the right, so it won't stay in the trunk lid. (Nevermind the missing rubber bumper at the bottom) The lubricated cylinder moves in and out of the body to soft close, or help open, the lid. You can see the body on the right is extended 1/8"/3mm farther than the one on the left. It looks threaded but it's not. It doesn't appear to be just a pull it thing either. It's plastic and I don't want to break it. Anyone have any experience with this? If it needs some weird dealer tool that's an okay answer too. It's a one time insert, else it'll strip again I believe, so I want to get it right the first time. thanks Image Unavailable, Please Login
