Anyone know how to tighten the RV mirror

    On a 88 Mondial?
    There is a hole at the bottom of the black plastic arm, but I cant figure out what type of screw is up there.
    Any help would be great.

    I don't know. But my friend Jerry (Pullenja, here on FChat) has the same problem with an '88 Mondial.

    The screw on the bottom doesn't do anything to tighten his either. It may be, that you have to take the whole mirror off off, and tighten something from the inside of the bracket. But I haven't looked at it that closely yet.

    Have you been able to take your mirror all the way off yet?

    If/when you do, please post a picture of what you find. I'll do the same.

    what type of screw is up in the hole to tighten it. I tried fishing around with a small flat, phillips, hex and torque, although I wold not expect it to be a torqe screw.
    Does anyone know what type of drive is on the screw up there and if tightened will kep my mirror from vibrating?

    Small drop of epoxy - works great and is a permanent fix. No one but me drives my 88 Mondial.
