does that seem to cheap?? i'm going to be breaking into this price range of cars soon. does that just seem to cheap for a white 355 with 28k miles and the 30k service already done?

A year or so ago relatively cheaply. Since then I have had to do work on it and the total bill plus the car is the same as they would sell for in a good 'proper' price condition. I haven't lost out...just headaches. Get a GOOD PPI first. There is most likely a good reason for the price...ask me how I know....

You may want to ask if the copper valve guides have been updated, I believe this was recommended on all 95s and 96s by Ferrari and can be costly but cheaper than sucking a valve. I could be mistaken but I think this is recommended before 20K miles? Mine were done during the 30K engine out and added several thousand to the total bill. Great looking car, I like it in white but would prefer bordeaux interior. Defintely do a thorough PPI on any car you look at, money will spent.

There is probably a thread on the valve guides, you may want to do a search in the archives using key words like "copper valve guides" "355 valves", etc..
