Unfortunately, "reputable" and "inexpensive" are mutually exclusive. I've had great luck with Intercity....not much more than normal carriers but they did a great job for me on a Mercedes and a Porsche.

Just so happens even as I write this my 355, which I bought in Texas is on its way here to NJ. I posted a similar thread ~2 weeks ago and got some good responses. I chose Jonathan Peck who works @ Lamborghini of Dallas to do the transport. I checked him out and found he has a great reputation. He is also active member of the F-Chat. Very pleasant to deal with. He also helped me take care of a few minor repairs @ LoD, and I had the car detailed while it was there. He only halls one or two cars at a time and that was key for me. His prices were also better than the big transporters.

My car will be here sometime tomorrow. Look for my post when it gets here and I will tell you how it turns out, and maybe post some pictures. I don't anticipate any problems, so I may have found an inexpensive, reputable company.

    Stand by!

Actually, as summer approaches, this is a very common question... I, too, currently have a car in transport!

I'd recommend that you go to the General / Ferrari Discussion forum, click "Seach This Forum," and search on "transport." You'll find many recent and relevant threads on this topic:

I used Exotic Car Transport from Tampa, Fl to Los Angeles ...... for a Hemi Roadrunner I bought ..... approx. $ 1,350...... door to door in an enclosed semi trailer ... the driver even detailed the finger prints after off loading....... was very happy with them. Took only 6 days from first call to delivery.
