Looking for a decent dash and ceiling console. My dash is sunbaked and the ceiling air/light console is sagging due to serious new mexico heat. Also looking for decent used lenses for the front turn signals of which mine are weather damaged too.

Out of curiosity, is the dash fiberglass damaged or just needs recovering? Ferrparts has a LHD dash shell. It is covered but will need recovering to be useable. It was already changed from red to black and looks tacky. As for the lenses, is this an issue with clarity or warp-age and cracks? If it is the first, there are several methods to remove the haze and discoloring. If they are damaged, check the usual suspects they may have used lenses. As with all recycled parts they probably will need some work. The new ones, it depends on where they were made. Some are better than others. They aren't all sourced from Ferrari so buyer beware.

Saw that dash - thanks. Mine is solid, and I got a price of 1200 to recover it, just want to see if there is a decent used one first. Lenses have faded yellow area. I was considering painting them from behind a turn signal yellow that I believe Krylon makes...have to check. They are dull as well and I'm aware that that can easily be handled with patience.
I can't believe the prices they are getting for lenses and that no one is doing a decent knock-off. So, not being the most patient type but not cheap per-see, more about principle of spending stupid money for a piece of plastic - I'm looking for decent used stuff. I know I got into the wrong brand of car for attempting to save a buck here and there but I've done a good job of revamping classic cars in the past on my shoestring budgets. Just have to be resourceful. Thanks for the tips so far.....New Mexico is a great for finding great cars, rust free, and at a bargain but most have felt the wrath of our intense sunshine which will bake the paint down to bare metal, curl every piece of plastic trim, dry out weather seals, and turn leather into beef jerky.

For the rehabilitation of lenses there is a page on the website here:
European Ferrari 400 Club » Entretien du bloc clignotant/veilleuse avant
It is in French but very informative, google translate is for.
As the price of lenses that there on eBay, it can be negotiated.
Must write to Greg here: [email protected]
For the orange lenses or bulbs can use paint for reduced as explained in this topic for another car:

I agree with you ingenuity makes a lot of savings.

Yep, just double checked. Those are reproductions not factory originals.

The repros are excellent, I cannot imagine how they are different from the originals...I paid about $750 for both, so the $1000 each is definitely a lot of money. Complete assemblies were about $1300 each, I think--so if the problem is just cosmetic, you may be happy with your money elsewhere...Lee

Hi Lee. There isn't a lot of difference and most people would never know. The factory ones have marks and numbers in the upper right and left corners and are a slightly different color. But at some point repros are all there are going to be so that is what we're going to use.
