I beleave this is the same TR that was for sale a few months ago. As I recall it was sold and if memory serves me (it usually doesn't) around 120K? Not sure what it's doing back on the market unless the buyer defaulted or is trying to resell for profit. Either way a car with so few miles at it's age is going to need a fair amount of work, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the bill to get it road worthy reached 20-30K. Beautiful car, though unless you're going to park/show it, I would buy a 512TR for probably less cash. (well, that's actually what I did!) It does say in the ad that a different '91 TR was sold for $118K. Again, not sure if this is the same car I saw on eBay months ago or not. Notice how there is NO mention about maintainence? I would think tires, all bushings, engine out service, water pump seals, all hoses(water/fuel lines, misc.) A/C service, etc. would all need to be addressed. Don't get me wrong, it's beautifil, but buy the time you spend $115K for the car and another $25 for service, well, you get the picture.
My thoughts exactly and was going to call the dealer today. They probably know nothing about the service history, but thought I would check.
Karl-the owner of Black Horse is a certified Ferrari mechanic. He took over Black on Black (in front of his shop) and now sells cars too. I don't think the major has been done yet though
