I want to use a piggy-back ecu (map-ecu3) to eliminate the mass air meter. I've done this before, with this product, on my MKIV Supra when I "supersized" everything. In this case, I want to remove the mass air meter on my 98 F355 GTS so that I can revert to the dual, individually run airbox-to-intake-plenum setup like the 95s. My car isn't an F1, so doesn't need to have the 2-1-2 airbox setup with the one mass air meter in the center. I have to believe that this car would breathe better with the separate runs, not to mention the restriction removed by eliminating the mass air in the first place.

The map-ecu unit can be connected in it's simplest manner with this car; o2 signal, tps signal, tach signal, and mass air signal. The unit can also be installed in learning-mode so that you can drive with the mass air still installed, letting the map-ecu build an exact air/fuel map of your car.

I just need those pinouts... in English :)

Here's all the wonderfully contradictory 5.2 Motronic stuff that I found. Apparently no dealer or otherwise can tell you exactly how the car was built. I still can't believe anything could have been built with such sloppy documentation. (Outside of a total neophyte start up company in a dirty garage somewhere) Have fun, I sure did trying to sort it all out.
