Gotta love the Sebring. Both have been on EBay previously.

    Ron,
this is what I have about the 3500 Touring:

    AM101.2476
    Nov. 1962, grey/red, Touring-no. 12478, 5-speed, wire-wheels
    New to Carlo Bonazzi –Verona/I
    1986 with Kurt Schneider –Newton.CT./USA
    1991 restored and repainted d.-blue/red
1993 sold to owner who offered it for sale via F40 MOTOR SPORTS

The red Sebring looks fantastic in profile view!

    Ciao!

The blue 3500GT was owned a couple of years ago by Bruce Berry, near Lynchburg Virginia. A friend was selling me the car and he described it in average condition. At the time it was the type of car that needed to be sorted out, had some rust in the trunk, paint was good but not superb. In the photos I have it looks the same as it does today but I have no idea how much work F40 has done to it. Owner wanted $65K, which at that time I thought was a bit too high for the condition of the car.

This car was on ebay, offered by F40, some months ago. I am surprised Carini has kept it for such a long time. It is currently at $79,700 and the reserve has not been met. That seems like a good offer and one that should be able to buy it. Perhaps the car is on consignment.

    Ivan,
    I must correct myself here:

the car was offered in Nov. 2008 by F40 on Ebay (of course F40 didn`t have it since 1993! > confusing listing in my previous post here!). I assume they got it then from Bruce Berry?

    Ciao!

Either F40 bought the car from Mr. Berry or he gave F40 the car on consignment, or perhaps a third party was involved. The fact that F40 has been selling this car for a year would make me believe it might be on consignment. Dealers normally do not like to tie up their money in a car for that long. It might be possible the car is still in Virginia since none of the ebay photos show the dealership in the background.
