    I am considering a 1999 360 Modena thats currently in Dallas (for sale by a leasing co). It's previous owner lived in Austin and it was supposedly serviced in San Antonio. It only has 5,873 miles and has red sports seats. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

    Call both the Ferrari dealers in San Antonio and Austin to determine what service it had done on it. Also, be sure and explain you're looking at purchasing this car and would be mighty grateful if they could shed some light on its history. I've called on a dozen cars and never had a dealer tell me no. It's all in the asking. Also, run a carfax and see where the car's been so you know where else you may need to call. Check with Dallas too.

    Thanks for the advice. I will make some calls if I can get close on price etc. If I do I would love an independant set of eyes on the car. I had a bad experience last year purchasing a 355 (since sold as it had an undisclosed accident history) and won't make the same mistakes.
