Out of interest, does anyone know the final resting place of this GT4? I bought it (with a mate) for a Herr Becker (NOT the Auto Becker chap!) in Central Germany (Düsseldorf ?) in about 1988/89. It had been imported from America and was spotted parked in a street in Munich. A couple of notes on the windscreen and it changed hands and we transported it up to this Herr Becker. I'd just be kind of interested if it's still around.

I'm afraid that, during a house move a few years back, I threw away a few tatty copies of an old US tax receipt which had been in the glove box. A wife had arrived on the scene and "we" had decided that Ferraris were not going to be part of my future! (now I'm happily divorced :D and have a 348!)

The only other things I remember were that I managed to damage the front spoiler lip after learning about the turning circle of a GT4 on a Munich road and having to mount the pavement in a hurry. Also, the suspension was as hard as rocks. I mean, it felt like the springs and shocks had been removed and replaced by iron bars!

I'll ask my old mate who was in on the deal at that time to see if he kept any document copies.

The GT4 shape has never left my mind - I'd probably be easily tempted to buy a run-down GT4 at a low price as a restoration project.
