    Hey guys, Sorry to sound redundent but I'm seriously considering this car.Now the dealer has statedto me that the car has 47k and needs a 45k service which is fine because he is deducting the price of the service off of the price of the car.I'm going to get a ppi in Indy.What I wanted to know if anyone can tell me a place near there were I can get a ppi.The car looks pretty good he says there is nothing wrong with it.Tell me what you think. I'm not sure how to link the web site but Its a red/tan on autotrader and its for sale at autohouse in terre haute ind. thanks jeff

    Have you tried asking the guys in this section? I think they would know better than me, who the goto guys are.

    By the way, I think they are asking too much, especially if the major hasn't been done. If they have proof of the major, then it's a reasonable price.

    Yeah maybe It could be I hear there are not alot of people out there who work on ferrari's.This car has been for sale for quite awhile.From what the dealer tells me it's his personel car.He was asking alot more money for the car thats probablly why it hasn't sold. He has come down alot on the price.He says it needs a 45k service but he is taking that off the price and he says he'll ship the car back to new york for me.I 'm goona call the guy you gave me and try to set up a ppi so I can at least see what else is wrong with her. The dealer tells me there isn't anthting but we'll see thanks again for your help.

    As to the price. The price that I worked out with him is considerably less that what is posted on the ad.In my opinion I feel aits a fair price

    When the price starts coming way down, it makes you wonder if there's anything he's not telling you... 348 motors are bullet-proof if maintained though - and they're def. the best value f-car in my opinion. I'd tripple verify the major was done though.

    He claims that the 30k service was done.He also faxed me a copy of an insp. done in sept. The bill states that a service is due.The bill also says that the horn, seat belts and washer doesn't work.Now he said that everythiung works but the bill says different.I tried to call martin but noone answered maybe he doesn't work on sat When i questioned the salesman he said he would get back to me about that stuff .Should I be concerned? thanks

    I dont know what your budget is, thats really not my business, but we can talk about that too if youd like. I watch the 348 market carefully myself and im looking at them constantly.

    Unless there was a REALLY good answer that he came back with in seconds like, "Yeah - that's all been taken care of," my warning sensors would start acting up. You know how cars are often advertised with the words, "No Stories!" in the ad?

    Well what I've read thus far are the makings of several stories...be careful.
