http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4509587217 I'm in love -- 355, yellow, F1, shields, challenge grill. Anyone know this car or the dealer? -Daniel
Edward, I believe it indeed is a North American spec car. Don't let the front turn signals fool you (clear versus orange), many people purchase them (from various sources) as they prefer the look. If you note, the car does not have the front side markers that a typical "Euro" spec car would have. Also, the guages (other than the speedo) all read like the USA cars (not metric). Euro cars that are converted, usually only change the speedo, nothing else, since the law does not require it. Dave
Non US spec 355 have three visable diff's that are apparent 1. Clear front lights (anyone can change these ) 2. Under where the scudiera shields are is a small circular amber light on euro cars 3. The rear bumper is differrent. The spacing allowed for the euro plate is much larger and a euro plate would not fit on a US car but a US plate would fit wiht way to much space around it on a non us-spec 355
Gees...another EBay story....how many times do I have to tell you guys....LOL OK - No clue who they are...I'll take a trip down there to check them out and post it here. Prob a Mailbox, Etc or something street adddress. You can bet there's something fishy....First, what kind of legit biz would use a hotmail account for email? Also, Boca is area code 561 and his number is 954 which is the Ft Laud area so it has to be a cell phone number...
this one caught my eyes as well for i m luking for an add-on second car....the price is very right but the interior looks quite used for a 99.
I spoke with the dealer about it. The difference between their offer on my 348 and my offer on their 355 was too far apart. I really believe that by June 2005 with 430's arriving in mass in the U.S., we'll see the 355B market straddling the 70K mark, if not under. I'll wait. -Daniel
