Anyone Know This Book...?

I noticed this book in an ad in the latest Classic & Sportscar, which I just purchased yesterday. If you go to www.motorbooks.co.uk and punch in "Ferrari 275", it shows that you can purchase it for $56.04, plus $9.34 in shipping, total $65.38. This company is in England.

I also looked at EWA's site in the US, but I don't see this title listed yet.

Edit: If someone paid $203 + shipping for it on ebay, they be nuts in the head!!

 

I have seen it recently. It's a book about the 275 series 30th anniversary held in Italy last year. It has about the same lay out as the books in the Automobilia New great car series. There are some nice pics in it, but IMO (as with the New great car series) far too expensive for what it has to offer.

 

Yesterday I was in Paris for Retromobile Car show, I had the book in my hands and it is almost of no interest (In my opinion). All the pictures are already known. It looks it has been compiled from other previously printed books. Should you be interested by the 275 series, I advice the book by Jess Pourret as being one of the best, together with the one printed in the Osprey collection (can't remember the author's name...)

The second one you are referring to is from the Osprey Auto History series: "Ferrari 275 GTB & GTS" by Ian Webb published in 1981.

 

Try contacting Auto Barn (818-998-5319). They carry Automobilia's books and in the past have discounted them deeply.
