    Watz up Slomo!

If you decide to take a look let me know and I might tag along, if I'm invited (hint..hint). I keep telling you, anytime you want to take the 308 out until you take the dive, the key's are yours.

Alrighty. This car has a bit of a story... Owner is a nice guy, and seemed very open and honest. He bought the car at an auction. It was stolen locally, and totaled by the insurance company, but title is still clear. Car went off the road with a flat, and damaged the front chin, and rear grill. Both are repaired/replaced. 30K service 2 years ago. Very good cosmetic appearance. Nice interior.

Previous owner told the current owner that the shop she took it to offered her a "totaled" estimate if she wanted it' and she accepted so the insurance co bought it.

Current owner offers any due diligence I might want, such as previous owners, service techs, PPI, etc.

I am going to try to bring my friend and local expert Todd (77 308GTB) to check it out with me.

    Any thoughts or advice?

    Dave

If, after your inspection, it appears worthy of a PPI, take it to a body shop first....for $75 to $100 they will spend 30 to 45 minutes and give it the "once over" and tell you truly how extensive the repairs were....if it passes, then take if for the PPI.

Mechanics can catch the obvious, but often miss repaint, and well done frame and body repairs.
