    Thanks Man!

I read through all the info on the threads (Fchat is great!), and this actually seems like a reasonable car for the money if one can live with the salvage title.

Hmmmmm....been lookin for a track car, and it would look great in the garage next to my Grigio Tatiano 360 Spider (which I wont track). :)

It does seem to be a good car. However, my personal advice would be that it's going to be a pretty expensive track toy. I would steer you toward a Viper ACR, Porsche GT3, or Lotus Exige. Much cheaper, just as capable or more so, and much lighter on the budget when it comes to maintenance and consumables.

I hear you. Appreciate the words of wisdom!!

I currently own a 2003 Porsche GT3 Cup, and rarely race it or drive it at the track anymore. Its just too cumbersome and involved. I was thinking of selling that car, and using the proceeds to get somthing like this one. That is, a car you can drive around on the streets for fun, yet drive to the track, rip it up, and drive home, without a trailer. Food for thought.

If I could get that CS for $90k, it seems like it might fit this scenario without a lot of cash out once the cup is sold. Make sense?

    Thanks again man, much appreciated!

They are asking $119.9k on autotrader...IF you could get it for $90k it would be interesting. They are a load of fun on the track (where I had mine last weekend), but expensive should anything break...

Unless the sellers have gotten smarter $90k isn't even close. They could have gotten 110K for it long ago and they should have taken it.
It's been years since this car was totaled and the wholesalers who own it have put 3-4k miles on it. Hmmmm.
I like this in the ebay description "drove over a small rock". Why the BS? It was 12" (which is a frickin' boulder) according to the owner who wrecked it, and I think I remember him saying the tires left the ground.
The wholesalers who own it now have put 3-4k miles on it too. Hmmm.

Having said that. I'd buy it now for $90K.

If you're going to keep it than the paper probably doesn't really matter if you can pop it for a decent price. If you plan to sell it, you might end up having to hold it longer than you'd like.

+1 auction is currently at ~$85k. Will be interesting to see where it ends up.

At $90K that dog won't hunt. It takes at least $109 to buy the car.

    109k I think you're right. But that's also why it hasn't sold.
