Here's my question....

$700/month will buy about a 90k home when taxes and insurance are included.

Would any realestate agent quote this as a value of a home to "inflate" their arguement? Not saying he's not,... just a strange quote....

Now if we count buying and selling houses and hotels on Boardwalk and Park Place, when not busy operating the Reading RailRoad... that's another thing.

I still haven't read the whole thread but I think people are being harsh on Dan; he seems like a good guy to me, just impatient, which is why a) he got exasperated at everybody who replied and maybe said some things which only made it worse b) he likes to drive fast and c) he is eager to get his dream car, even before he gets his own house (and as most of you think, before he can really afford it). This is also why he won't settle for anything less than the perfect car - if it's missing a wing or doesn't have the right interior then "No" he says. In fact don't people usually advise "Don't get it unless you are 100% certain it is for you"? Maybe some of you don't think this is wise and maybe he's trying to take steps that are too big but it's his life and his choice so if he does well with it then good for him and if he messes up like you say he will then hopefully he'll learn from it. If I were you Dan I would get a Gallardo as an intermediate step between the NSX and Diablo and then in a few years get the 6.0 but it's your choice. Anyway I don't see the need for personal attacks although I don't think he cares what most of you think of him. My 2 cents
