Looks like a interesting car? Seems like a decent deal......... up in the Northwest....... http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/ctd/1532206811.html
Dont know the car but I like it I have been looking at this white 328 ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220527200219 ) I would prefer a lower mileage car like this one but getting them into Calif I have been told is a problem. This one looks to be in better shape than the ebay one I posted.
Seems quite nice indeed. If someone were looking for a white 328 I think this would be one to jump on, assuming a PPI comes out good.
The white with the red interior makes me feel kinda funny, like when I slid down the rope in gym class.
Because I have always been told get a car already in Calif. and don't try to bring one in, its too much work. Have to admit, I was talking carb cars at the time, maybe I am wrong, would be nice to be wrong as it would expand my shopping choices. I thought if they did not have the Ca. tag on them for smog then they were 49 state cars and Ca. DMV would make it difficult, like I said I would love to be wrong.
Those convex wheels make the '88 looks more curvy than the '87. I really the 5th picture in the '88 ads. My 2 cents.
the early cars without cats are harder to get smog but possilbe, stay away from euro's in calif.I had a 85 308qv and they are very easy to pass smog
white seems to be the color of the day I agree with the above poster about the wheels but you get what you can afford and it appears I have found my toy, best of all, I can keep my Dino.
Just so you know, the Portland area requires smog tests to register. We don't have that issue over here in Central Oregon. I doubt you would have a issue getting the car into California with a Oregon Smog check. Seems like a good price for the car.
no sorry to confuse you, I am going for the ebay car I posted the link to...never knew it hurt so much to pull the trigger, first I want to see it in person, then probably a PPI, then the drive home if it all works out.
What is the black knob and box under the lower right AC vent? There is something very clean looking with a white 328 with all the black louvers, spoiler and trim pieces especially with the black interior.
It's on ebay now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-328-328-GTS-1988-Ferrari-328-GTS-Stunning-Example-Fresh-Service_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem439c72f64bQQitemZ290387588683QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks
Not a problem with the injected cars. Mine came from Georgia via NC and easily passed CA smog. It may have been the one sold (or wholesaled) by this place -- http://www.nwicars.com/index.htm -- a few years back. I never got a VIN on it, but it was white/black and had 25K miles in 2005 or so. They had it for a long time, IIRC.
I didn't pay attention to these 2 ads, but it seems they're the same car and the price just dropped by $6K or may be just a mistake. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/ctd/1545369055.html http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/ctd/1552476283.html
No more listings from links, did you purchase Mike? Definetly no issues being out of state, 49 state cars only need to be avoided new-don't think there are any of those issues any more-and have been driven 7500 miles IIRC. Then, only has to pass smog which shouldn't be an issue at all unless poor running condition. Jeff
It's still on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-328-GTS-1988-Ferrari-328-GTS-low-mileage_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3efc1b1bedQQitemZ270517607405QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks
