    From drivers seat, this is located in the right side of the engine bay below the air filter box. ps how do I attach the photo so it shows here in the post rather than a link?

    It's that whining pump sound you hear at cold start that lasts for about 90 seconds and then shuts off. Injects excess air into the exhaust upstream from the catastrophic perverters to help reduce emissions before everything is hot enough for the perverters to reduce NOx emissions.
