(it's a long video so I've provided timestamps with where the clicks occur)

Comes from the rear of the car

Only audible with roof down and it's more easily heard in places where there's something for the sound to reverb off of (like parking lots or tunnels).

Happens at low & medium speeds (I presume it happens at higher speeds too but generally harder to hear as road/wind noise drown out the clicks as speed goes up)

Clicks happen when there's a load change (going from on-throttle to off-throttle and vice versa, during gear changes)

Happens only when in gear (does not happen when in neutral and rolling and load is applied via applicaiton of the brakes)

Confirmed it happens in only some 458 and not others (some friends with the 458 spider have this, others do not)

I've done multiple services both minor/major annuals with the dealer and highlighted this to them each time and they've never come back with anything for me to do.

I've basically given up trying to find the source of it but if anyone else has experienced this or knows what it is I'd much appreciate it.

    Small update

I took it to the dealer and they recommended rear hub replacement claiming it was something in the bushings but that just seems completely wrong diagnosis given the noise is not present when car is in neutral. If it's something in the suspension bushings or wheelbearings then it shouldn't matter whether the car is in gear or not.

GIven the clicks also occur in a single gear it's probably not shifting related either (tried 1st, 2nd, 3rd, all same, single gear, noise occurs when moving from on/off or off/on throttle).

My best guess at the moment is there's excessive backlash in the diff somewhere.
