Does anyone live in Lower Merion Township? I've heard pieces of it mentioned, and I wasn't sure if that was just people driving through it.

Not sure of Lower Merion but some of us live very close. Like Villanova, Newtown Square, Media, Lafayette Hill, Wynnewood, Havertown, Bryn Mawr.

I live in the Radnor section of Villanova. Lower Merion is Spitting distance from my house across County Line Road.

My Dad was a Lower Merion Ace, class of '48.

I've been to about 30 Radnor-Lower Merion football games, many at Baker Field.

    We're all around you.

Does anyone know if Algar would let someone rent a ferrari? My dad used to have a testarossa(before he had kids), and he misses it. I always got the impression that the guys at Algar aren't friendly to non-buyers.

The guys at Algar are the greatest, i walk in there every saturday and just talk Ferrari for 30mins to an hour. They are really nice guys. I dont know about renting, but they do have a Testarossa in the showroom.

I have a Dino 246GT, "almost a Ferrari" according to the brochure the Ferrari Dealer would give you when you went to buy one.

Patrick bums rides with us, and drools on the cars a lot. (coolestkidever)

ERIK'S dad has a 355 which he NEVER DRIVES. (Teenferrarifan)

Jimangle has a 308 I believe, he's in your end of town.

There are several others in and around the area.

We've had a get together or two where we buzz around. Next time up, come along, we'll toss you into a passenger seat, and your dad too.

And nope, not a chance of renting a car at Algar. But, they are usually pretty friendly, even to browsers, as long as you respect the cars, and suck up a little.

They have a very nice Testarossa for sale right now.

Oh, and your dad graduated a year earlier than me. I was at Radnor at the time. Small world.

Oh wow, I would love to have a ride seeing as i'm 17 almost 18 that is a dream and my dad would probably love one too. It is true that Ferrari owners are one of the nicest people around (my dad has a friend who has a ferrari and he is really nice but we don't see him much if not at all). I did get to ride in a Testarossa(and drive it but was too scared to shift above 2nd because im scared of hurting the car). I'm always drooling when I see a ferrari, I watch it the whole time it is within eye sight. And yes I do know that the guys are nice, they just seem like they aren't too friendly. And they might be nice to you because you are a ferrari owner and they see you as a potential buyer, but what do I know. Around Christmas, my dad reunited with his older Porsche 944(I don't know if the P word is a no no in here or not) for a day and we were driving around Gladwynne and the such. My dad just does not want to buy a car like a Ferrari or Porsche again because he is older now and he has to send 3 boys through college(ivy leagues), and he doesn't like spending. Money isn't the issue, it is the spending of the money is the issue.

I think I know the owners of Armen chevy. Wow, you guys are great. i'm sooooo glad I joined. Now I know that I'm not the only person in the area that loves ferraris besides the owners, and i even get to talk to owners. The next best thing that could happen is a get one(which almost happened but I didn't keep my end of the bargain i had with my dad).

Patrick Yeah it is. I am on spring break next week and as long as there is no snow or salt leftover down there (I am praying) he said I could take it for a rip along the coast. In the last year he drove it like 500 miles and I think I put on about 100 with my brother. It is a 1996 and only has 8800 miles on it. It had 7100 when he bought it 2.5 years ago.

haha. Patty call me or pm me as it gets closer. But, I work up here during the summer and am always down from Sat-Tuesday so no problem. Just stop in and knock on the door any of those days and i'll take you. I think you know the house if not it's on 53rd and central you can't miss it. Look for the blueberry muffin outside(XLR).
