In my 348 TS I see there is just the rear dome light. Plus the red lights on the backs of the doors. No underdash lights. Anyone ever add a couple underdash lights to their 348? Finding light holders is easy if you want to take a trip to a self serve junk yard. Many cars and trucks have them. I'm sure there are many that bolt in. Wonder where to find a 12 volt hot feed switched wire easily. I'm not much into making too many changes on my 348 but this one is out of sight and would be nice to have.

Have never thought about adding extra lights and I dont think I really have the need to add them into my car. :) Stock standard interior light IS crap, but I dont really care about it. I rarely drive my car at night anyways to ever worry about fitting extra lights under the dash. :)
It would not be hard to find 12v (under dash) as a power feed for your new light. Make sure you dont load up the fuse box too much by adding in extra/too many lights. Maybe try and use LED lights, as they use less amps to run. As you know, Ferraris dont have the best electrical systems in their 'older' cars. :)

Adding two small light bulbs under the dash is nothing in the way of current draw. The hard part is finding where to tap into the switched wire that controls the interior light and the door lights. On American cars the door switch usually provides the ground. On the 348 it could be the other way around. If one could find an easy place to get to this switched wire it should be easy to add two under dash lights. Anyone know where the wiring harness is that goes to the interior dome light? If it was under the center console it would maybe be easy to tap into.

I think the 348 is also negative switched mate. Can you just check where the wiring runs into the door switch and piggy back power from there? :)
