Hey guys, I just came from my P-car dealer (Jack Daniels) and they just took a 360 CS in on trade for a GT3 (why the person traded, I dunno...they must be nuts). Anyway, they have the car on the floor and it is just stunning. As you can imgine it is gettiing a great deal of attention and as a result they want to move it...and have an offer that they plan to take from their wholesaler if it doesn't sell ASAP. I wanted to bring this opportunity to your attention because I know a few of you out there have been talking about getting a CS and this is an awesome example at $6K under sticker. I have the sticker here and this car has the full leather, red calipers, hifi, AmourGuard, etc. Sticker on the car is $198K, so $192K or so you can have a 2k mile car and not have to wait. From what it says here, the 2004's have a 3 year warranty and this CS was titled in Febuary 04. It's Titanium with dark grey interior and contrast piping. Eric, any sense of when these guys are looking to move this to a wholesaler. Gotta believe they're gonna keep it for a bit. When did the car come in?
BTW, I think JC360's on the road. I just spoke with him, and it looks like today's a no-go because of work. Manana...if he doesn't leave for Boston.
Car came in earlier in the week and they plan to move it next week. They do not want that car on the floor taking up space and as an authorized Porsche dealer, they do not normally put cars like this on the floor. Their wholesaler made them an offer and they are willing to part with it for $2K over that offer of $190K. These guys are straight shooters and not full of BS. That's why they want to move it. I have a feeling that Porsche of NA wouldn't be too happy about having that car on the floor next to the Turbo or even GT3's. The CS kicks ass in the visual dept next to those p-cars (and you know I'm a p-car guy saying that). That CS sounds beautiful...especially on the showroom floor!
Do you think it's worth the extra $10K? I frankly think it looks bad ass the way it is...but stealthy at the same time. Not that the stripe is bad, but...
Just spoke to Allan again and I think $193 WILL seal the deal...they may ask for a couple of bucks more when you go in, but I'm VERY confident that $193k will do it.
I dont think the stripe is that much! AFAIK the stripe sticker (which is identical unless you touch it, with OEM stripe it is clearcoated and with the sticker u can 'feel' the stripe) is $3k
