Hi fellers, Well...that was short-lived LOL! I have approximately 35K buring a little hole in my pocket for a fresh little face in my garage. Anyone out there possibly looking to sell their F-car, or know of someone who is? Would really prefer a GTB but... Please let me know. Your faithful addict, Scott
2 GTBs: http://reno.craigslist.org/ctd/2647417234.html this one in LA: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/2638696119.html
Hi Scott - Did you end up checking out that little GTS in the Dallas area we chatted about? BTW, I'm hanging onto my new-to-me QV, so you can't have it! LOL... Glen
I just looked at an 87 328 in Acton, MA. Seller wants $35K. Had a PPI done on it, but could not close the deal. PM me if you want the seller's contact info. It is a Nero/blk 328 with 41K miles. I have no personal, or business connection with the seller.
Are you looking for a 308(carbed or FI) or 328? If I remember, you liked your 308 better than the 328?
I know of an 81 euro driver in my area that has had it's engine redone. it isn't in bad shape and it isn't in great shape either.
Give me 15 of it and i will ship you a mondial spend the other 20 on booze and women ...... just sayin
Hi fellers, Would prefer a carb car, but it would have to be a 78-79 due to my living in idiotic California. As mentioned, would also really prefer a GTB, though might consider "the right" GTS. Thank you for the links and suggestions so far...and for a couple of PMs ;-) My best, Scott
No cats were required in CA in 1977 but today it would have to pass the "sniffer". Welding in a cat probably wouldn't be too much trouble, but without the air pump, air injection rails and whatever else, it would likely fail miserably. Then again, I'm no expert. Anyone else wish to pine in? Of course, I would much prefer a 76-77 GTB for obvious reasons ;-)
You're kidding right? They are doing retroactive emissions testing in CA on cars that never had it to begin with? What about the guy with an immaculate '57 Chevy? Or a 250 GTO? Wow. Oh and my GTB isn't for sale.

Could be convinced to sell my '77 GTB. Here is my old ad: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=6977 Price is negotiable. Ad is accurate except now got 43,500 miles, just changed oil with Mobil 1 15W50, installed K&N air filter and rejected. Let me know what you think. Steve
Thanks again, guys, for the help and offers As you might imagine I've already been trolling the usual sites for "potential acquisitions" Then again, you never know when I might miss somethng ;-) My best, Scott
CA exempts '75 and earlier cars from smog testing. Post-'75 cars must meet their test levels on the exhaust sniffer.
I'd be willing to sell mine. I'm not advertising for sale but would sell if I got an offer. '80 GTB. 36K miles. Red/Black. Well cared for and maintained. Majored in 2008. Owned for 11 years. No issues and sorted. Drive anywhere with no problems. But in the other hand since he already owned a few 3x8s and is a driver kind of guys, maybe it's time to try some other Ferrari: 355, 360, or even the 430 (a Scuderia would be awesome).
Which yellow one? I bought the yellow car that had been on CL in Portland for a while last month, but there might be another.
The one in the OP link for CL Los Angeles. Its bounced between CL and eBay since last winter. Its expired now.
