It is time for me to get a new weekend toy and I have my eye on a 430 at a local showroom. In the meantime I need to sell my current car. Here are a few pics and the ebay auction number. The auction has the list of mods as well as many more pictures. Let me know if you have any questions.

Magnificent first post, headdoc! Many of us on this board own and appreciate Porsches. Neither Porsches or Ferraris are toys.

I wonder what you'll be calling your 430 in a couple of years.

Wow. Did not mean to offend!!!!!!!! I absolutely LOVE this car and am not trying to denegrate it or our common love for cars. You should gather that a lot of emotion as well as care went into putting my Porsche together.

I will be sure to remove any levity from my future posts here. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Again I apologize if my language was offensive in any way.

Its not the language, friend, its the forum rules about posting cars for sale this way. But welcome, you'll be converted soon enough, LOL.

Your language was not offensive, however, and this is generally common sense, but it is not appropriate to join a community that you have 0 time invested in and SPAM it with your Porsche ebay ad. Clearly you're after the FerrariChat clientele / marketing base but "we're not interested"! That's why the responses on this thread to date are a bit bizarre.

Yes, we're all car guys, and yes, we're all very excited that you're looking into a 430. Lots of information here on that (check out the 360/430 forum in the car-specific sub forums).

Your path forward: Subscribe ($15) and post an ad on FerrariAds.com in the "other" section.

P.S. This thread is probably going to get deleted by the moderators.

    Mike,

That is helpful. I was looking and could not find a thread that has cars for sale as the Porche forums often do.

    Thanks for the guidance.

try making yourself a sig and put "porsche for sale" - with a link to pics/description .

has worked for me on other forums and shouldnt be breaking any rules.
