anyone nostalgic for some special time in their past?

    For some reason I am fixated on the late 70's. I was born in 1970 so I was about 7-10 years old, but the time seemed so magical with Money, Oil, horse racing, Dallas TV show, Vegas and Elvis. My dad was my hero and all his friends were larger than life. My parents divorced when I was 12 and my dad died when I was 18 so am I just "longing" for some closure or what?

    Does anyone else have episodes like this or do I need to go get my head checked?
