    Hello "F"-Chatters,

Anyone know of a high temp washer that I could use beside the exhaust system. I'm looking for a nylon washer type, do they even make such as item?

    Thanks Guys,

    Chris.

What is the application? On the exhaust itself or just in close proximity?

Nylon usually has a low melting point. Nylock nuts on exhaust seem like a good idea, until the nylon melts and drips out. I speak from experience. If you want a lock nut, go with copper locknuts. NAPA has them in 8mmx1.25.

You say you're actuallly looking for a nylon WASHER, so if sealing something next to the exhaust is your objective, it sounds like you want a copper washer since there's an obvious concern about heat. What are you trying to accomplish?

I have purchased many different fasteners from this company and recommend them highly. There inventory and selection is exceptionally broad and deep.
