anyone ordered the 599 in that burgundy colour yet?

imho that colour so suits the car!!

My car is about 8 weeks out and will be the Rosso Rubino.

First 599 in the states in Rubino (I think) will post pics when she arrives.

Rosso Monza is an £8,000 option I expect that will put many off.

Yeah we tried to order rosso monza until we found out it adds a 4week wait to the car and costs $19,600

 

while that is expensive, its such a beautiful color and is an extra 20k really going to put off someone already shelling out 300-500k? it will make it more desirable on the used market as well, no? i can see the extra 4 weeks as being unbearable though

 

I was going to order mine in that color -- but I'm not married to the color enough to justify that kind of "silly money" for a paint job. Why is it so expensive ?

 

Because there are 8 differents "hands" of colour.
The problem is if touch another car and if people are able to make it new

 

I'd pick another color.

 

i guess it all comes down to how much you like the color. im in love with it so if i had the money to get one i wouldnt mind the extra bucks.

 

Our guide at the Factory last summer stressed that the burgundy color is the "official" Ferrari color for the 599.

Saw that car in person at Goodwood. It looks nice in pictures, but in person, I didn't like. I preffered the Black 599GTB they had just to the left of the 599 pictured (was under cover). Darker colours tend to suit the 599GTB, but Silver and Rosso Corsa are quite nice.
