I am looking for a new digital camera.........something that has high megapixels, is compact, and can take movies as well. I found Fujifilm FinePix F10.....anyone own one? If yes, what do you think of it?

    Other suggestions?

That's too extreme. I want something very compact.

I have a Sony DSC-P150 which is a great camera. High res (7.1MP) and lots of features and good control if you like manual picture taking. Most importantly, the image quality is top notch and beats out most of the super-compact models. This is small enough to drop in a pants or short pocket and not worry about.

There is also a DSC-P200 that has similar specs but a larger screen

I have a Finepix S7000 and its great. Wouldnt say its exactly compact, but has extremely high res( approx 5-6MB size pics on full setting) and with the micro-drive memory card can hold a good 20 mins plus of video footage.
A very easy camera and nice quality

If you don't need things like apperture priority, then go for it. It's a great camera, maybe the best in it's class. Lovely colors, very low noise, ISO1600, etc..
