I have heard that some owners were sent a $2000 coupon off the purchase of a new '06 Range Rover HSE from now until June. I was told that they are transferable. I am picking up my '06 RR in May and wanted to see if anyone has one that they would be willing to give or sell one to me.

i hav an 06 RR HSE but haven't received any such coupon. in RR's defense, there is a strong chance I threw it out mistakenly assuming it was a customer survey

if i do get one, however, i'll send it your way for sure

    ASG,

Why are you waiting until May to pick up your new Range Rover. I assume you have one on order, but there are plenty out there for purchase right now. I am also assuming that you have ordered a Supercharged unit. I may have a customer not using there coupon of which you speak, but I think your information on the transferability is only part correct. If I am not mistaken, they are only transferable within the household. The loophole is that if you get a Land Rover retailer that will call Retailer Operation Assistance (ROA), then they can probably get an exception for you. If your Land Rover Retailer is not willing to do so, email me at [email protected].

Also, if it is Supercharged Range Rover that you want, I have dealer friend across the US that have them in stock.... black, silver, grey etc.

    I put a lot of miles on a 03 (55k in 3 years).

Great trucks that have wonderful handling dynamics with better steering feel and response then my SL.

Only major issue I had with mine was a front differencial failure at 50k miles. (The first years had issues with that, I am sure it is fixed by now)

    Adam,
my business partner and i both have about 7500 miles each and no issues. i will say it drives nothing like the porsche-i can only speak to the non supercharged version. my FX was a much sportier ride as well. 14 mpg on super has been my average.

I finally came to decision over a G500 and Cayenne that I'll buy a Range Rover. I will purchase one within the next month, an extended warranty is a MUST I've heard. My brother just got the Sport Supercharged and loves it. I have a number of friends that have Range Rovers, custom and stock and all love it. Where I live, everyone and their mother has this car. That is the downside for me, but I will try and stand out by getting black rims.

    Will look something like this...

POS!!! Anyone that tells you they have not had problems has only had it for 1 week or is lying. I had an 05 for 18 months and 30K miles. In shop more than I can count and lost $28k. RR dealer where I bought the car would not even give Blue Book for trade. Look at MB GL 450. Runs circles around RR ( even SC) and will not leave you stranded on highway. Ever noticed how many RR you see on side of highway broken down?
