I've been looking at them. The performance numbers seem great, but the interior appears to be lacking. I wonder how the usability compares to say, an Elise or nice 911, (997)?

Much bigger inside than an Elise though not nearly 911 standards. I like the spartan look inside. Reminds me of an F 40.
The drivetrain installer is important to the overall package having reliability. There was a funny link somewhere about someone selling a Noble, and its lack of reliability, on the English version of Ebay about a year ago.

    I have an M400.

The interior build quality is good, but the design is really spartan.

Usability and daily drivability is also very good, but it's missing a trunk. Performance wise, it's similar to an Elise on steroids, except it's far easier to handle at the limits. It does have more compliant suspension (much like a 997, softer than a 996 GT3), and a pretty tractable powerband. The 997 definitely has more of a street bias than the Noble though. You have cupholders, a trunk, more sound deadening, etc.

There's a bunch of us over here if you want to ask:

    Thanks Gabriel!
I'll visit the site. After reading about the 997TT, I think it might be the way to go!

    Hello -

Its a great car, with amazing capabilities for the $. However, its a matter if it lines up with your expectations. For me, it does. As NobleForums stated, the build quality and fit/finish is great, but its just a very simple and spartan design (interior).

As also mentioned, the installer is very key. Now at least we have people with more experience with the car, and know the little hic-ups here and there to address. If you brows nobleforums, you will see that I've had my share of issues (engine - long story). However even with the BS ive gone thru, I'd still buy one again. 99% of people have a great experience reliability wise, not different than your avg production car. Just remember, it is British...

Thanks guys, appreciate the support. I'm still very excited about it. I get it back this week after new engine and a ton of mods, cant wait.

If any of you are on the endge between a Noble and a F-car (and have a daily), and you actually want to DRIVE the car, don't test drive a noble or you will buy one. Yea, might not have that alure and prestige, but for me, its not what its about. Once I can afford both, you can bet that I'll have an F430 as well :)

You are looking at about 95K to 105K depending on the version you get. Installation price can vary (for engine package). I'd say there is another 3K+ you will want to spend on worthy mods. Intercooler, heat management, BOV, fans, basic stuff.

Servicing.. well, y'on y'own. There is a small network of knowledgable Noble mechanics coming about across the country. There are 2 in So Cal, one in OC, and one in LA that I go to. Not much maintenance besides a $50 oil change every few thousand.
