Party Poker is a very, very, very dangerous program. I personally netted a loss of $50 after going black $150 within an hour of starting to play. A friend of mine netted a loss of $700 after going black $1500. Another friend (who isn't as good at poker as my other friend or I) lost $200 in two days.

    1. Its seemingly impossible to win. If you play smart, you get beat by n00bs chasing rivers every single time. If you play overly agressive, noone calls you or someone chases and beats you on the river again. Even if you have a ridiculous hand, you will still more than likely lose. For instance, in two weeks of playing I was beaten twice holding four of a kind.

    2. The instance of big hands is way too frequent, and I have really come to doubt the claim that their random number generator is really random.

    3. Even if you do win and cash out, I've heard it takes up to three months for them to send you your money. So if you lose, its very very tempting to go to the cashier screen and click "Cancel my withdrawal," and you're back to losing more money in an instant.

There are much better, much safer online poker sites out there.
    Try www.ultimatebet.com or www.pokerroom.com

Again, I'm not saying this because I've had a bad experience. I know the stakes of poker, and I lost. Big deal. Get away from the program, for your own sake!

I just play with the fake money, i was just curious if anyone else was on the site too. I question their random number generator also. Me and my friends have talked about this....crazy..

I play party poker from time to time and the dozen or so times I have cashed out it never took longer than 4 business days. The fact is that you can even have idiots chasing cards no matter where you go. Happens all the time with the drunks playing at Harrah's down the street from me in New Orleans.

The only way to sortof take care of the problem with it on Party Poker is to play higher stakes tables where people are more experienced with the game.

In fact, sometimes I prefer PartyPoker for the times you want to really talk trash to people and put them on tilt. You can say some really annoying and outlandish stuff online that would get you killed in person. So for that aspect it is a sure plus. Just act childish, drunk, call a few hands you shouldn't to make yourself look like a moron, then just sit back, wait for the cards, and take them down.

Ex. sometimes I will call a raised pot(preflop) with garbage cards like a 3/8 offsuit. If I don't hit top pair, two of a kind, or a flush draw I will fold before betting any more. But on the occasions you do flop something out of the ordinary, and beat everyone at the table, they will look at you like you are a complete newbie for calling the raise with garbage cards. I view it as paying for the chance to put people on tilt, which can more than make up for the value lost by calling the raise. You just have to be careful when you do it and fold your cards if you begin chasing something you shouldn't

I agree with you, a few of my friends had similar experiences with partypoker.com. That is why I only use pokerroom.net. I have never had a problem with getting paid and they generally have better bonuses for your first deposit.

I play partypoker and like said before, play the higher stakes and deal with more normal people.
I play mostly tourneys and win (in the money) 50% of them. don't worry about the river chasers, you get beat now and then but overall it's in your favour, specialy in tourneys when they take each other out.

    Yes. Puerto Rico IIRC.

It's funny if you try to buy chips via western union they take have a new guy in PR to send the money to and everyday it's a new guy.

With that being said I play Pokerstars and stopped playing for real money. I came up ahead a decent bit but I was getting to much into it. I still play for play money and may buy $50.00 in chips for ****s and giggles to see what I can do again. Pokerstars>Partypoker.

    Forza,
    Kevin
