About SAC and the history of 'countdown to nuclear annihilation'. Lots of discussion of aircraft; B-29, B-36, B-47, B-52, B-58... pics. Pretty quick read... I grew up during some of this. Couple errors... "Republic F-86" (fighter that collided with a B-47 carrying a nuke that was 'dumped' in a bay. Good read.

Did a search... the F-86 (thought he might have meant a 'Republic F-84) was a North American F-86L ...it had the 'big nose' radar cone that, I think, started with the F-86D. Book also gives some discussion of world events, Coup in Iraq, Sinai Peninsula probs...from the basis of SAC.
