Anyone really daily drive their 488 GTB?

I will be ordering my MY19 488 GTB next month and would like to make this my daily driver as well. I live in Chicago so that includes winter months. I figure I would throw winter tires on and should be ok. What do you think?

I semi daily drive. Only days where it is to the office and back. I drive daily to early morning workout. But days where I am meeting someone for lunch or going to a meeting, I drive the pickup.

Mostly because it seems more appropriate.

But the car is awesome to drive around. Some people say to only drive the car for special drives. I say it makes every drive special.

I live in Switzerland. We have cold and sometimes snowy winters. I did an event in Gstaad where we drove and tested the 488 ability to handle extreme snow conditions. I can vouch that with winter tyres on it was incredibly easy to drive.
You can for sure use it as a daily driver but some days I will still leave it at home. It just feels wrong to expose this beautiful car to crappy roads...

 

I daily my Lusso even in some crappy weather and I was going to do the same for the CaliTHS but decided to try and sell. However looks like I am taking it back so next fall-winter it will be with snows next to the Lusso.

 

If you'll be daily driving a 488, why don't you pick one up used instead of buying new? Will save you a bit of money without having to wait...

 

All last year I was daily driving my 488gtb to work and back - a small commute of 6 miles to work but invariably about 30 miles back via a longer scenic route - definitely can be a daily driver !!!!!! A great destressor after a crappy day ! DD it

 

I’m a fair weather driver myself. I like it to be an occasion
