If i had my 1st time again /or if i replaced Spider, i'd choose TDF/Tan instead.
No regrets.......... I think it's the best looking color in the 355 spider. ( That's why I bought it) Though, if I add to the collection I would consider other colors for dif. models. For example, the 360 in silver, the Enzo in black.....
Well I have to admit, it is a bit in your face, but it is beautiful on the car and most passers by love to see a red Ferrari. I really like the tan with the red, it shows up the interior detail much better I think. Just enjoy it !!
no regrets.. ferrari red is the best red imo... it seems to change colors as the light changes...very cool
YES...TDF/Tan on a 360 Spyder is drop dead gorgeous!! Friend of mine just had his delivered this afternoon, and he invited me over to watch it being unloaded off the truck. I still have a permanent grin on my face It's an awsome color combo in the flesh to say the least!
I always said my first red car would be my first Ferrari and there's a "rosso corsa" 328 sitting in my garage as proof. The one other color that I really like the 328 in is black, but in this southern climate that would be a bit too hot. The main variable is the interior color; I recommend cream (crema) or tan over black for the same reason. Even with the top off on a hot summer day, the seats in my cream interior never get too hot to touch.
Similiar to my favorite combo on the 360 spider, TDF/Cream, with blue stitching.. you cant beat rosso corsa for resale value though
my spider was Azzura California with all blue dash, wheel, racing seats, hoops. that car was attractive. how do you guys keep a creme or tan interior clean??? i sure cant.
While I love my rosso corsa BB512i, I wish I would have found a silver one like my ex-348 Spider. A silver Boxer looks GREAT!
Well.. frankly i wanted black, but saw a black 308 this weekend and hated it. Looked less than i would have preferred. Naturally this is a personal choice.
I must say that I personally like the rosso/crema combination. however every time there's any talk about this, I think of a quote from the comedian Steve Coogan(who is a car enthusiast by the way, and has owned/owns Fcars): He said, " I always opt for the homosexual pack spec when ordering my Ferrari"-referring to the rosso/crema combo. It just makes my laugh(Now don't go flaming me! I'm just quoting what i read.)
If i had Bill Gates kind of money in my pocket and i could do nothing but collect Ferraris all day, i'm not sure if i'd EVER make it around to a Rosso Corsa car... The NNO would HAVE TO BE black over black... Azzurro California over Navy 360 Spider with navy calipers, Daytona seats with Azzurro inserts and piping, etc.... (although, ultimately, i'd want it to be black...) The 355 looks awesome in ANY color, but Rosso Barchetta over Tobacco looks really nice... Maybe i'd go with that... Maybe black over tan or black on black... Matt black over black Stradale (with stripe) with matt black wheels... A white 612 with blacked out windows, black leather interior, no inserts, no piping; keep the calipers stock unless i make the wheels white, then i'd have black calipers or i chrome the wheels black (not likely), then i'd have white calipers... Or, a black 612 with black wheels - calipers would be the same color as the interior, whatever it might be; maybe dark red or white or black or light blue - all leather... A yellow Daytona would be nice; but only for the off chance that it might increase the odds of getting Nika to go out with me... A black 250 GTO... i could seriously care less what the interior looks like... A very deep, dark purple 250 LM... Not prugna, but more along the lines of something that might be called Nero Rosso or something like that... Sounds like a repaint would be in order, huh...? A yellow Testarossa - not that i'm partial to yellow TRs or anything... Did i mention a black on black NNO...?
Bit surprised by that Tony, i have seen your car and IMO it looks AMAZING!! I think Rosso Corsa/Red (with tan interior) is the best color for a f-car But ive noticed (from reading and speaking to owners) that many owners buy Rosso Corsa as their first car but often change to a ''less discrete'' color later on.....
My first F-car was Rosso Corsa w/ black interior, but too many F-red cars out there. I wanted to be different (but I had to like the color), so the following f-car was in Rosso Fiorano w/ tan, and now it is silver w/ black. I really like silver w/ black now.
