I'm just saying, it's a 13-6 score right now in the 9th for my cardinals, and the braves have already lost, we could pull even tonight, with the 162nd game of the year being possibly the deciding factor. back in 1964 the phillies went from 6 games up with 12 to go to losing the NL to the cardinals, and '64 was a good year for us, :), i'm just throwing that out there, :)

+1! but i will say, if bobby cox were still at the helm of the braves, their collapse probably would have never happened, but LET'S GO CARDINALS

The stros aren't exactly laying down, are they? Pitching match ups are fun for both games, too. Be fun to have split screens, but the cards game starts an hour later. Comes down to each pitch, each swing after 322 games.
Who's pitching if there's a game in StL?
    Cheers,
    RE

I don't remember the specifics of the collapse - what I *do* remember is discussion of it by some of the Big People was one of the things that piqued my curiosity about baseball cards.

lohse will go tomorrow, but now that the braves/phillies game is going into extra innings, and the cards are up 7-0, i don't think tomorrow's gonna be needed, :)

I'm not sure any team wants to play the Cardinals right now. They are in the mindset to make a serious run to the World Series.

What is it about Georgia? Braves had a Greg-Norman-Masters type of meltdown.

It seems this will go down as the *two* biggest collapses in the history of the game!

    Red Sox from +9
    Braves from +8 1/2

Both done in the same season......

Just wish my World Champion Giants were involved in taking advantage. :(

    Cheers,
    Ian

I think the Rangers have a good chance of going to the World Series. :)

    Rangers can watch on TV.

    The Book of Lou reads;

And God spoke unto Lou, saying, After all other enemies are defeateth each year, and when the leaves falleth, a Great Tribe from The NorthEast wearing pinstripe tunics and leggings shall do battle with Cardinals, and Victors shall showereth and celebrateth in wine.
