812 wheels aren’t rated for the axle load of the FF. I contacted both Ferrari and AppTech to check on the rated wheel load as it’s not stamped on the wheel and they both told me not to fit them but refused to divulge the rated load for the wheels

FF weighs, what, ~500lb more than 812? If 250lb more per axle is the breaking point for 812 wheels, you've got bigger fish to fry. I know people have run F12 wheels on FF. Seems fine.

Nobody said they would break but you’ve reduced your margin for error. How much of that margin do you want to eat? And what’s your insurance company going to say when they discover that your accident was caused by a wheel which wasn’t up to spec? In certain countries, they’ll invalidate your insurance.

It’s a fact that the F12 wheels are rated for a design load which is lower than the FF’s axle loads (the SuperAlloy wheels have the rated loads stamped on them). There are limits for a reason and just because nobody has reached them doesn’t mean that it’s a good idea. It’s a bit like saying that carbon fibre is a good material for making submarines. Seems fine…
    … until it isn’t.

The FF’s axle loads are up to 21% higher than the F12’s and 16% higher than the 812’s. That’s a fair amount of safety margin which has been taken away. If you, or others want to take that risk then fine - but at least be informed about the risks you’re taking rather than assuming it’s all okay just because some test pilots have managed to get away with it.

Do you know anyone personally or could you point me in the direction of someone that's ran the f12 wheels on the FF. I want to try and run the 812 wheels, but am concerned about what I can fit under the front tires. 812 calls for 275/35/20 and stock FF is 245/35/20.

I run 812 wheels on my GTC4, they work great, look great. Had to run 15mm spacers on the rear and the figment is perfect. No rubbing using factory tire sizes.

Thank you for sharing the photo.

Lusso rear offsets are 10mm lower than the FF’s so it’s logical that you’d need spacers for the rear wheels. 812 wheels have been successfully fitted to the FF without the need for spacers.

Looks great any side shots, what size tire do you run on the front 10 inch wheel?
