    I know of the car and it matches the vin. But I don't know exactly of him going to India, but I will have to get some info. Are you looking for a Testarossa John?

    The car has been for sale for almost a year- I believe it sold recently and is back for sale at a dealer, I drove the car several months back, and it had some serious problems. I would guess the car sold from the previous owner in the mid 30s, perhaps less. Caveat emptor. There's nothing wrong with a high mileage car that is in good shape and well maintained, but that car did not fit that description when I looked at/drove it.

    Hello:

    I was considering purchasing this exact vehicle in 1996 from the Malibu "owner" at the time. If memory serves me correctly it was the lowest price driveable TR in the US at $54K OBO. I had a pre-purchase inspection at the time - passed on the vehicle. In all fairness this vehicle may have undergone extensive work in the last decade and may be a "clean" vehicle.
    PM me for details if you are seriously considering buying this car and want some insight (I still have a copy of the California title with the January 14, 1993 tranfer date).

    thank you all for the information. i suspected this car had some issues, price is too good to be true...you know what they say if it's too good to be true. in any case, i thought i saw this same person selling a red TR with very similar mileage a few months back, for a similar price. i originally thought it was the same car repainted black.

    4rter, i don't think i'm going to risk trying to purchase this car. seems like more hassle than it's worth.

    ferraripanoz, yes i've been cruising the classifieds for an early, high-mount mirror TR.
