Here's a tip, if a girl thinks of you as a nice guy you are finished, you're asexual, thats why asking a girl what she is looking for gives the wrong answers always since they don't really know why they do the opposite of what they say they want either. Women have not changed their primal desires from 100,000 years ago no matter how nice a guy is which is why they are drawn to the bad boy types even though they say they want a nice guy and to be treated well.

Why take another guys girl that you don't know, maybe he is a tool and deserves it, maybe the challenge, who knows he is not giving her what she really wants which is why she is interested in the first place, if she gets knocked up and is sleeping with a few guys she knows one thing for certain the kid is hers, who the father is the guys could only speculate if its theirs until testing, its cruel but is the law of the jungle and the way it is.

As for dating a friends ex... I would ask him first. If he says no, then I will respect that, but if he says he doesn't mind, then he has no right afterwards to be jealous or angry.

Even with all that "Correctness", somewhere down the road, it would probably come up again. He may not ever say it but he would always resent you for it!

I have hooked up with a few friends ex's. But in all fairness, I was seeing them before my friends did. And the second time I was drunk.

sure, that's the assumption you make when you go into such a relationship. however without going into details we know we are so much better for one another than any other people we've encountered (yes, she was in a 4 year rel'ship when we met, but they were just casual buddies by then and she was bored shatless). i've been cheated on before, but not had anyone 'taken away'. those experiences have left me (hopefully :) ) with the wisdom to know when a relationship is no longer worth pursuing long before it comes to anything like that.

so if this girl ever does the dirty on me, i'll probly leave the monogomy-meat-market forever. in fact i'll probly turn gay, a) i won't trust women anymore, b) it'd be too dam hard to find anyone even half this good again.

I've been with other guy's girlfriends, but never actually taken one from another guy. To be fair, I didn't know (for the most part) these girls were seeing anyone.

Its common for women to overlap relationships out of fear of being alone.

The fact that the common themes here strongly reinforce what I've always thought is startling. I guess it never gets better, huh?

You don't get to pick and choose who you fall in love with... Sometimes you fall in love with someone who's already dating or married...

I pursued a young lady for a year while she was dating another guy... After that, she finally broke up with him - after eight years of dating - so we could date (for two years)...

Married women are a completely different story altogether... :)

That is true.. I know a lot of girls like that. I, however, am not one of them. I take entirely too much time between relationships but it allows me to get myself together so that I can be "whole" for the next one. :D

I have a cardinal rule about going after girls who are already in a relationship, and thats to leave them alone. If some chick is willing to ditch her current guy on a whim because of me, whos to say she won't do the same again? Based on that alone I would never fully trust her, so there is no point. Women are sketchy to begin with, but starting a relationship on lies and deceat is bound to end in a cluster&#)$(#*$.

And that whole "you can't control who you fall in love with" is b/s. You may lust for someone, but you don't fall in love with someone you're not in some kind of relationship with. I've dated many girls in my 25 years, and put forth quite an effort on a few, but I can say there is only one so far I have truly loved. As well if you truly love someone, you never stop loving them on some level. Maybe I have a higher perception of what love is, or am just a self centered ass, who knows.

I never said anything about loving someone you're not in some kind of relationship with... You obviously need to know and interact with someone in order to fall in love with them - that love at first sight nonsense is crap...

I'm just feeling extra feisty I guess, but the whole premise of this topic strikes me as incredibly chauvinistic. "Take another guys [sic] girlfriend away from them [sic]?"

IIRC women stopped being the property of men some time ago. (OK, not here in the Middle East, but in civilized countries...) Talking about "taking" a girl away from another guy is to imply that she is his property.

OK, rant over. I would never pursue a woman whom I knew was in a relationship. But if I meet a nice lady, we hit it off, go out, and it later turns out she has a boyfriend, well, that's just too bad for him. He wasn't much of a boyfriend if his "girlfriend" started dating someone else. But by the same token, she wasn't much of a girlfriend if she started dating someone else when she was involved with the original boyfriend. So, from personal experience: if she goes out with you while she's seeing someone else: run, do not walk, to the nearest exit.

Sweetie, every man lusts after every presentable woman he meets. See woman-want woman: that is hard-wired into our brains. It's a tribute to man's self-control that we don't just drag you all to our caves by your hair. Meanwhile women get away with outrageous behavior and blame it on their hormones. We have hormones too, and they tell us to drag you into our cave and kill all the other men. How come it's OK for you to be controlled by your hormones and if we are it's called rape and murder?

And i'm with you guys on the lust thing. There is a good reason why I work out in front of, and occasionally join the yoga class. Some definite "tallent" running around in there.
