Anyone Tired This Android/Carplay Head Unit in the FF?

    I spoke with the seller and they swear it works with no issues, but do not offer install instructions. I have purchased Android/Carplay systems for my 997 and W212 from AliExpress in the past. Installing those wasn't exactly intuitive but there are YouTube videos that made it very doable. I haven't been able to find one detailing the install in an FF, just a video showing that it works:



    Anyone out there with knowledge on this install? Thanks!

    Looks good in itself.
    But I wonder if, if you spend a lot of money on a Ferrari, you should cut back on this.
    How is the sound quality?
    I think there are better alternatives that have proven their added value; see also the many threads on FerrariChat.

    Oh, OK! You know the original head unit came out of a Jeep right? The cost of the AliExpress box is similar to what an Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer, etc. would run. But all of those look very aftermarket and in my opinion, that's what cheapens the look of the interior of the car. Otherwise I would've gone with one of those. I'd rather have a unit that looks more factory.

    Lol yeah the head unit is the same as my 2016 wrangler. Software is a little different, but everything else is the same. The 2016s have an upgraded one, but 2012-2015 is the same.

    I guess if my radio ever breaks, I can just pull the “spare” out of my dd…
