    Hey All,

I've got a bottle of this stuff I got for free and my 355 is due for a wipe down. Not a hose wash, just a wipe down and then I usually use meguiar's quick detailer. Wondering if any of you have experience with this stuff and how it is best used.

    FYI my car is black.

    Thanks!

    OK,

Since none of you responded and I'm impatient, I gave it a shot.

I did a bit of reading up on this stuff and it seems the best way to apply is to spray your towel, wipe on, let sit for a few seconds, then wipe off and buff (using micro towels for all steps). So after I did my initial wipe down I tested a few areas and I must say this stuff is pretty impressive for a quick detailer. They call it a wax, but to me, it is more of a quick detailer.

Don't over-saturate the application towel, a little bit does go a long way. It does leave the paint with a freshly waxed finish for sure which the meguiars lacks in my opinion. It is also very simple to work with and buffs out nicely.

Keep in mind that this in on a clean car that I hand wax pretty often. If you try to use this stuff on your 73 Ford pick-up that lives out back it probably isn't gonna do much to help the paint.

I have not used a large amount of quick detail sprays, but I'm keep this stuff on the shelf to replace the meguiars quick detailer. The shine is marginably better but the feel of the paint after is a huge difference; almost like I just did a full wax.

    hope this helps
