Looking to purchase some door bump stops for the sides of my garage. I have a single garage, so it's a tight fit and don't want to do any damage to the doors.

I stumbled upon these and look good with good reviews. Anybody here using these and can chime in on how effective they are?

Also, looking to buy some tire cradles for the winter. Which ones do you use?

    Thanks in advance :)

My apologies for this being off-topic, but your signature line is awesome:

"Race cars do not come with cruise control, automatic transmission and power steering. These are conveniences for car travel shared with sightseeing and chatty relatives--but outright impediments to any bonding of man, machine, speed and road."

    It's so true.

    You could simplify it:

"Race cars do not come with cruise control, automatic transmission and power steering - these conveniences are outright impediments to any bonding of man, machine, speed, and road."

    :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I stole quite a bit of my wife's baby-proofing stuff and Ferrari-proofed my garage.

I have a set of Race Ramp flat stoppers. They are not really convenient unless you are not going to move the car for a period of time like a winter layup. They did seem to prevent flat spotting. They have them at a reasonable price on Amazon (two widths available).

Just glued a small piece of 1 inch ( 1" depth x 3" width x 10" length) styrofoam (covered in white cloth) to the wall. Low profile and you don't know its there unless you are looking for it.
p.s. the cloth is to mute the sound of the foam against the door
